He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Maurer Radel; his wife Jane Hartz Radel; his son George Radel; and his grandsons, Kevin Dugan, Jr. and Jon DeGondea.
He is survived by: his father Alexander John Radel; his children, Lisa DeGondea (Rex Myers) of Kingston, Cynthia Bell (Donald) of Ruby, Theresa Swartz of Kingston, Richard Allan Radel (Lisa) of Gansevoort, NY and Buddy; his granddaughter Rebecca DeGondea; and his great grandchild Lilyana DeGondea. He is also survived by animals, friends.
