Jean A. Salzer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2022, Jean A. Salzer of Kingston, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean A. Salzer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wiesner and Adelaide Robinson Wiesner; and her sister Joan A. Willimott. She is survived by: her friends, Louise Friedmann of Saugerties, James Crist of Kingston and Jean; her caregivers, Jessica, Tandy, Kim, Dena, David, Nick and Caroline; her children, Karen Salzer of Kingston, Kim Brosius of Binghamton and Kirk Salzer (Salowa) of Longmont, CO; her grandson David Brosius (Julie) of Binghamton; her great grandchildren, William, Theodore and Julian; and her nieces and nephews, Brenda Rider (AL), Linda Fink, David Willimott (Nancy) and Gregg Willimott (Michele). She is also survived by 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate and attentive care their mother received at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, particularly the nurses and staff on A-2: Jessica, Tandy, Kim, Dena, David, Nick and Caroline who went above and beyond to assist their mother during the COVID pandemic when family member visitations were not permitted.
