Though Grace may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Grace touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Elmendorf and Florence Elmendorf (Aliton); her husband Edward Heaney; and her daughter Lyn DePaola. She is survived by: her son Wayne Heaney of Esopus; and her grandchildren, Sean Heaney of Esopus, Laura Maloney of California and Debra Smith of Washington.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service (326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Wiltwyck Cemetery West O'Reilly.
