He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George H. Johnston and Leona Freer; his wife Jane E Johnston (Glass); his children, Joyce Farrell and Wayne Johnston (Mary); his brother George Johnston (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Charnel (Anthony), Elizabeth Sargent (Alex), Michael Farrell (Caitlin), Melissa Foley (Billy), Christopher Johnston and Caitlin Johnston.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
