He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Burberg and Stanley Ede; his grandparents, Clara and Charles Burberg; and his aunt Elinor Burberg.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (33 Fairview Cemetery Ln, Stone Ridge, NY 12484). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 345 Cedar Ridge Rd, Kerhonkson, NY 12446.
