He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schukal and Magdalena Schukal (Tscherne); and his son Edward J. Schukal, II. He is survived by: his spouse John Klimowicz; his pets, Bentley and Versace; his daughter Alecia Brophy (Thomas); his grandchildren, Ryan, Evan Brophy, Edward J. Schukal, III (Diana) and Emily Schukal; and his siblings, Joseph Schukal and Frances Albert (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
