It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Grant (Kingston, New York), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Grant and Estella Smith Grant; her siblings, Ralph, Jr., Gerald (Nellie), Raymond, Edward, Harold, Willard, Loren, Loretta (Wolfgang Adels), Alfred and Nancy; and her son Stewart.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jane Dempster (John) of Frankfort, NY and Norma Curtis (Jessie) of Greenwood, SC; her sister-in-law Evangeline; her daughter-in-law Helene; her grandsons, Christopher and Steven; her granddaughter-in-law Amy; and her great grandchildren, Jenson of Shokan, NY, Meredith of Shokan, NY, Cameron of Shokan, NY and Zoe of Shokan, NY.
The family kindly requests donations be made to the Town of Olive Rescue Squad and Shokan Wesleyan Church in her name.
