He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Bud" Phillips and Hazel Phillips (Rosa); his siblings, Margaret (Dennis Longendyke) and Leonard (Alice Phillips); his in-laws, William and Cecilia Dickson; his brother-in-law Edward Dickson; and his godson Jason Nyulassy.
He is survived by: his wife Judith (Dickson); his brother Joseph Cannon (Kelli); his children, Jean Winters (Kenneth) of Ulster Park, Carol Hikade (Stephen) of Stone Ridge and Charles Jr. (Deanna Woolsey); his grandchildren, Nicole Dutcher (Ryan), Jacob, Benjamin Hikade, William (Kelsi), Madison Phillips, Kenneth, Cody, Jordon, Madison Winters and Lexi Woolsey; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Julian, Helaina and Sadie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and brothers and sisters.
