It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Polansky (Kingston, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Isidore Polan (Florence), David Polansky (Shirley), Molly Foote (Marcus) and Faye Rosenthal (Jerry); and her niece Emily Frankel.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Florence; her nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Jean Morris (Stephen) of Woodstock, NY, Ilene Rosenbaum, Francine Helfant, Leonard Polan (Jill), Paul, Marcus Jr. Foote, Dennis, Lee Rosenthal and Larry Frankel; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Morris, Dustin Polan, Rachel Polan, Alissa Polan, Janet Frankel Orser and Paul Frankel.
Bessie would so greatly appreciate donations to be made to Ten Broeck, the Esopus unit, in her name as well as the local ASPCA.
