“Dear Montefusco Family, I was saddened to find out the "Monte" passed away. I was lucky to have reonnected with her over the past few years. I met her first when me and Sue Jensen at Huntington High School interviewed her for her job at the school as a science teacher. I loved her right away. She was talented, dedicated and very funny. She was the first co-teacher I worked with. Together we started the science research program at HHS. May her memory be for a blessling, Rich Kurtz”
