It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Geant of Kings Park, New York, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ritzman and Helen Ritzman (Melvin); her son James; and her son-in-law Zeke DeAngelis. She is survived by: her son Rod Geant (Gerard); her daughter-in-law Sheila; her daughter Lorie DeAngelis (Dolores); her grandchildren, Stacy Geant Hughes (Brian), Amy Geant Mackenzie (Ally), Drew Geant (Katie), Jennifer Williams, Eric DeAngelis and Marisa DeAngelis; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Sam, Teddy Hughes, Max, Charlie Mackenzie, Griffin Geant, Maiyah Norton, Alana, Marc Williams, Angelique Venter, Adalyn, Lilly DeAngelis, Tristan, Ava and Gianna McDole.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the New York Foundling, or the Alzheimer's Association.
