He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Bowman (Houghton); and his siblings, Sherman, Harold, Vernon, Edna, Keith, Lorena and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Bowman Lille (James) of Saratoga Springs and Wayne Bowman (Tricia) of King Ferry; his grandchildren, Brian Lille (Jill), Mary Lille Querbes (Brandon), Kara White (Percy) and Krista Tyrrell (Mark); his significant other Marion Thompson; and his sister Maxine Shallenburger of Lititz, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
