She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Zifchock and Sophie Zifchock (Romanowski); her husband William Barger; and her children, BillieJo Schnock, Mary Ann Barger and Michael Barger.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Shipos (Dana) of Lansing, Judith Withers (David) of Lansing and Gary Barger (Maureen) of Newark Valley; her siblings, Richard Zifchock of Lansing, Dolores Teeter of Dryden, Marion Partridge of Lansing, Carl Zifchock and Donald Zifchock (Rosie) of Trumansburg; and her son-in-law Roger Schnock of Lansing. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shurtleff Funeral Home - Genoa (10117 NY-90, Genoa, NY 13071). A Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Church (8695 NY-90, King Ferry, NY 13081).
