He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Smith and Vera Smith (Stankus); his wife Geraldine Smith (Gerry) of Kinderhook, NY; his children, Carly Smith (Maggie D'Elia) of Arlington, VA, Kevin Smith (Lisa Luvera) of Niskayuna, NY, Vizslas, Abby and Gabby; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson D'Elia-Smith, Ben and Natalie Smith. He was also cherished by his Aunts and many cousins.
