She was predeceased by: her parents, David Bowley and Elsie Mahl Bowley; her former husband Wayne Yaw; her husband Robert Whitmer; her son Thomas Yaw; her siblings, Wayne Bowley and Ruth Matteson; and her grandson David Yaw.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Yaw of Portville, NY, Elsie (Raymond), Charles "Chuck" Yaw (Theresa) of Salamanca, NY and Wayne Yaw (Judy); and her sister Evelyn Shear (Richard) of Ellicottville, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the donor's choice.
