He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Stephens and Lela Agnes Stephens (Wilbur); his wife Irene; and his grandson Andre Hamon Jr. As. He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Jr. (Sherry) of Accord, Stephen (Stacey) of Kerhonkson, David (Patty) of Accord, Timothy of Kerhonkson, Daniel (Gloria) of Newburgh and Dawn; his son-in-law Andre Hamon of Kerhonkson; and his sister Dorothy Sauer of Middletown. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
