He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McElree (Pole) and James McElree; and his sisters, Ella Mae Edwards, Janet McElree, Gail Mednick and Linda Decker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Fran Overton and Kelly Wright (McElree); his granddaughter Amanda Wright (Nick); and his sister Donna Wells (McElree). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
