He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Tony, John, Michael and Christine; his parents, Anthony DeGondea and Minerva DeGondea (Swain); his daughter Alon Melecci of Brent Lake; his grandsons, Troy Melecci-Baker, Logan Melecci-Baker, Samuel Abare (Melecci) and Joshua Abare (Melecci); his niece Rebecca DeGondea; and his nephew Jon DeGondea.
