She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wustrau and Anna Wustrau (Tolski); her husband Arnold Van Etten; and her siblings, Rolf Wustrau and Anita Nelson.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Ortiz; her son-in-law Alex; her grandchildren, Matthew and Megan; and her siblings, Fred, Werner Wustrau and Irene Mance. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ingrid's name to the American Cancer Society.
