She was predeceased by: her parents, Martine Uhlig and Anneliese Uhlig (Hoppner); and her husband Walter Volz. She is survived by: her daughter Janette C. Volz; her son-in-law Mustafa Cinar; her siblings, Gerlinda Uhlig and Hartmut Uhlig; and her sister-in-law Ilse Uhlig. She is also survived by niece, a nephew and their children.
