He is survived by: his parents, Richard J. Brandt of Rosendale and Deborah A. Sweet of Largo; his stepmother Lynda Brandt of Rosendale; his brother Richie Brandt of New Jersey; his godparents, Andy Tuman and Lucia Tuman; his uncle Bill Brandt; and also Torre Sommer of Kerhonkson. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle.
