Betty Marcell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Marcell (Kerhonkson, New York), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ramona Bendell and Henry Bendell; her husband Frederick Marcell; and her children, Kristin Ann Marcell (Sara Tweedy), Michael Marcell (Kate Marcell) and Steven Marcell (Kristin Taylor Marcell). She was also cherished by her seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to organizations she was passionate about: The Sierra Club, The National Geographic Society and The House of Ruth and, to Montgomery Hospice, in memory of the wonderful care and grace she was provided.
