He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Emke and Fay Collard Emke; and his sister Peggy Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Harper Emke; his children, Aaron Raynor of Sinclairville, Joe Green (Alena) of Mayville, Samantha Harper of Jamestown, Sandi Emke of Kennedy and Seth Emke of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Tristan, Sean, Malaki, Jade, Peyton, Noah, Gracelynn and Olivia; and his siblings, Gail White (Dave) of Bradford, Keith Emke of Jamestown, Dan Emke of Randolph, Mark Emke (Linda) of Cassadaga and Dale Emke (Renae) of Jamestown.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
