She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson H. Rissel and Muriel Whattler Rissel. She is survived by: her close friend Steve Sample; her pets, Isabell, Hamp, Wiggles, Peeco and Florence; her siblings, Bonita Mead, Betty DeJoy, Robert, David and Dana Rissel; and her friend Darla. She is also survived by four nephews; one niece, six grandnieces, three grandnephews.

Memorials may be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, Kennedy Library or Kennedy Fire Department.
