He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Bhattarai; his parents, Bhim Bhattarai and Chandra Bhattarai; his grandparents, Dhan and Naina Khadka; his siblings, Ganga, Rohite, Tika and Saraswati; and his partner Sancha Rai. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
