He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn Amo (Albrecht); his children, Dennis (Sarah) and Katherine Waddell (James D.); his grandchildren, Hunter, Isabella, Mckenzye, Beau and Zoey; his parents, Robert Amo and Dorothy Amo; and his sisters, Roberta Chapman (Robert) and Barbara Amo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charles' name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
