Anita Cherkauer Obituary
We bid farewell to Anita Cherkauer (Kenmore, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Anita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Anita's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Anita has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph J. Cherkauer; her stepdaughter Linda Cherkauer; and her sister Josephine Perez (late Julius). She is survived by: her sons, Kevin and Brian Cherkauer (Dennise); and her stepchildren, Douglas Cherkauer (Kathleen) and Deborah Hammond (Terry). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217).
