He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Ireland and Frances Ireland (Dunshee); his wife Beverly; and his daughter Tammie Sample. He is survived by: his daughter Denise Norton; his grandchildren, J. R. Norton, Mike Norton (Shayla), John Ireland, Natasha Sietmann, Matthew Norton, Brian Norton, April Sample, Christopher Norton, Duane Sample and Phillip Norton; and his sisters, Irene Tillapaugh and Deanna Vogt. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
