It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert LaBounty of Keeseville, New York, who passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward LaBounty and Margaret LaBounty (Barber); his sons, Robert, Jr. and David LaBounty; his sisters, Judy Almilli and Janet Mero; his brother-in-law Leo Mero; his brother Hubert (Cora); and his nephew Mark.

He is survived by: his wife Helena Olshewsky; his children, Cathleen Steele, Timothy and Darlene Peeters (Ted); his grandchildren, Kristen Steele (Tyler Woodward), Tanner Korman (Zuzanka), Joshua Peeters and Brooke LaBounty; his great grandchild Luna Korman; and his sisters, Mary Anne Bezio (Darwin), Helena Valentini (Ray) and Sue LaBounty.

Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
