She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Coats; and her son James Coats. She is survived by: her children, Edward Coats (Christine) of Keeseville, NY, Diane Day of Canandaigua and Mary Thompson (Robert) of Seneca Falls; her grandchildren, James (Jenifer), Christopher, Mason, Priscilla, William and Brook; her great grandchildren, Jakob and Jackson; and her sister Joan Coats (Dick Lee) of Canandaigua. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Mrs. Coats memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
