She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Hayes and Catherine Hayes (O'Keefe); her husband Eugene Auer; her siblings, William Hayes, Henry Hayes and Mary Derrenbacher (Hayes); her granddaughter Heather Elaine Auer; her brother-in-law Edward Bollin; and her grandson-in-law Scott Scovell.
She is survived by: her sons, Eugene Auer, Jr. (Joan), Daniel Auer of Keene, NY, Henry Auer of Keene Valley, NY and Harrison Auer (Holly); her sister-in-law Eleanor Bollin (Auer) of Rochester, NY.; and her grandchildren, Chris Auer, Eric Auer (Sandy Auer), Daniel Auer Jr. (Lauri Auer), Scott Auer, Sean Auer, Penny Whitney (Auer), Paul Auer, Melanie Porter (Matthew Porter), Elaine Doyle (Steven Doyle) and Vanessa Scovell (Auer). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
