With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Weissgarber (Katonah, New York), who passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Anna; and his brothers, Michael and Peter. He is survived by: his children, Anna Weissgarber (Quirk), Cherrie (Joseph Reinhardt) of Waxhaw, Laurie (Steve Harden) of Red Hook and Christopher Gebbia (Heather) of Fernandina Beach; his brother Thomas (Cynthia) of Mendon; his grandchildren, Leo Vogel of San Diego, Ryan Vogel of Red Hook, Sara Reinhardt of Waxhaw, Jacob Gebbia of Fernandina Beach and Jesse Gebbia of Fernandina Beach; his nieces and nephews, MaryJo McCarthy, Peter, Richard, Michael and Elisha Weissgarber; and also, Michael Weissgarber and Christopher Gebbia.
In lieu of flowers, his children ask that you donate to his favorite junior drum and bugle corps, Phantom Regiment.
