It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Z. Skandera (Jordanville, New York), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on April 14, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Zelinsky and Agnes Bofia Zelinsky; her daughter Theresa McCarthy; and her siblings, Joseph Zelinsky, Helen Marseglia, Mae Liscinsky and Agnes Doyle.
She is survived by: her former spouse Albin Zaleski; her spouse Thomas Skandera; her children, Albin Zaleski (Luann) of Rome, Alexander Zaleski (Vicky) of Shelton, CT, Barbara Mlekoday (Joseph) of Herkimer, Agnes Zaleski (Nelson Crouss) of Springfield Center and Maryann Dubai (Matthew) of Suffolk, VA; and her siblings, Edward of Milford, CT, Vincent Zelinsky of Milford, CT, Irene Cullen of Stratford, CT and Frances Saresky of Shelton, CT. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
