It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brown in Jordan, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross DeForrest and Lillias Irene DeForrest; and her siblings, Joyce and Ross. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori DeFurio of Rochester and Sherri Ellis (Mike) of Ithaca; her grandchildren, Zachary Winters (Rachel) and Emma Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Penelope Winters and Oliver Winters (George Lones).
