He was predeceased by: his mother Rowena Platten (Yates); his wife Karen (Hughey); his siblings, Gail Conley and David A. Platten; and his father Howard E. Platten.
He is survived by: his children, David (Carrie) of Canandaigua, NY, Todd of Jordan, NY, Jennifer (Chad Tetreault) of South Burlington, VT and Chad (Erin) of Weedsport, NY; and his grandchildren, Shelby Platten, Finley Killeen, Rowan Killeen, Emma Platten, Eric Platten, Samuel Platten, Sarah Ann Platten, Mariah Platten and Sami Moore. He is also survived by his nephew, nieces, grandnephews & grandnieces.
