He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mary Clare Higgins (William), Kathryn Brown (Charles), Jennifer Jones (Craig), Martha Markey, Sarah Cullinan (Shannon), Caroline Hayes and Jeffrey Badger (Ellen); and his siblings, Frank, Martin Badger and Neen Oberlies. He is also survived by his eight children, his thirty-one grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
