With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard George Derby of Jordan, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Derby and Marion Derby; his siblings, Leland, Richard and Barbara Bracknell; his wife Peggy; and his pet Sadie.

He is survived by: his children, Sue Volpe (Bob), Howie, Chris Ann Bassett (Paul), Bernie (Carrie), Marietta and Terry (Eric); and his siblings, Carol Dailey and Charles Derby. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
