He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Holt and Frances Canfield Holt; and his siblings, Melvin, Ronald Holt and Lynda Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Warren Holt; his children, Melissa Brown (Lorne), Trina Sowle, Thomas Holt, Jr. (Donna), Marcie Holt (Dave) and Eric Holt (Sharon); his brother Frederick "Rick" Holt (Jill); his grandchildren, Brandon Brown (Stephanie), Lyndsie Adams (Nate), Ashlie Bond, Jordyn Sowle, Kaitlyn Holt, Emilee Holt, Elijah Porter (Christine), Morgan Holt and Caleb Holt; and his great grandchildren, Reed Achzet, Beau and Audrey Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Halgas Funeral Home (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Cornell University Cooperative Extension-Fulton & Montgomery Counties - 4-H or to the National FFA Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
