She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann McNulty (Thomas Mahon) and NJ; her husband Henry Vacek; her daughter Bridget Nabinger; her sisters, Patricia and Ann Marie Mahon; and her grandson Evan Derby.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald and Matthew Derby (Sherri); her stepchildren, Lisa McNeil, Steve Vacek, Karen Woodman (Wallace) and Cynthia Lawhorn (David); and her siblings, Bonnie Van Wie, Tom Mahon and John Mahon (Ann). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (205 Glebe St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
