It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan J. Sweeney (Johnstown, New York), born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Horan Sweeney; his grandparents, Donald, Ella Sweeney, Joseph and Dorothy Horan; and his uncles, Richard and Daniel Horan.
He is survived by: his father Thomas Sweeney of Ephratah; his wife Carrie Spraker; his brothers, Scott Sweeney (Carrie) of Gloversville and Shaun Sweeney (Ashley Jade) of Brunswick, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Spraker of Broadalbin, Ronald Spraker (Sheri), Randy Spraker, Rebecca Spraker (Tucker), Shelly and Sherry Spraker. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Regional SPCA, in care of the funeral home.
