He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Martish and Margaret Mussey Martish; his son Robert Martish; his brothers, Donald, Everett and Robert Martish; and his sister-in-law Linda Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Prew Martish; his children, Lisa Stoffregen, Kevin Ovitt (Sierra), Rebekah Cooper (John) and MaryAnn Ovitt (Chris Crocetta); his grandchildren, Ryan and Riley Stoffregen; his children, Tristan (Nicole), Brendan Suchy (Jordyn DeNeuville), Sean, Bailey, Noel, Lauralye, Isabel Ovitt, Kyle, Zachary VanAernam (Mackenzie Heffernan), Miranda Taglialatela (Thomas) and Ethan Ernst; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Amelia Suchy; his siblings, William Martish (Becky), Sue Riach (Joe), Margaret Motyl (Chris Kenney), Robin Cross (Wayne), Debbie McMillian (Jim) and Becky Christman (John); his mother-in-law Sylvia Cheney; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Martish and Herbert Cheney (Katrina). He is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Tree Rifle Club (419 Johnson Ave, Johnstown, NY 12095).
