With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon G. Stangle (Johnstown, New York), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Dorn Stangle; and his brother Leonard Stangle. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Macdougall (Mike) of Perth and Kathy Stangle (Chuck) of Perth; his sister Lori Piska (Matt) of Broadalbin; his sister-in-law Linda Stangle of Amsterdam; the mother of his children Claudia Harrison; his grandchildren, Anthony, Todd and Kayla; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Landon and Paisley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to the Perth Volunteer Fire Dept., both in care of the funeral home.
