With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John G. Rizzo Sr. of Johnstown, New York, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmello Rizzo and Assunta Rizzo (D'Errico); and his siblings, Carmelo Rizzo, Salvatore Rizzo, Joseph Rizzo and Catherine Rizzo.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Emma, Abigail, Vincent, Gianna, Alessandra, Tyler, Devyn and Easton Rizzo; and his pets, Owsa and Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
