He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Horne and Muriel Baxter Van Horne; his parents-in-law, Bud Poteat and Margaret Poteat; and his siblings-in-law, Randy, Brian Poteat and Jacqueline Poteat.
He is survived by: his significant other Terry Poteat Van Horne; his children, James R. Van Horne of Johnstown, Matthew W. Van Horne (Michaela) of Patchogue, Margaret M. (Van Horne) and Mueller (Kyle) of Rochester; his sisters, Elaine Putman (Kevin) of Gloversville, Debra Johnson (Timothy) of Johnstown and Sue Putman (Curt) of Johnstown; his grandchildren, Lucas Van Horne, Mattias Van Horne, Lia Van Horne and Kellen Mueller; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Manka (Kay), Henry Manka and Tucker Ewing Poteat. He is also survived by (Sister in Law) as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Social distancing guidelines must be met, and face masks are required.
