He is survived by: his wife Harriett Van Allen Ballou; his children, Karen Taylor (Edward) of Hartselle, AL and Frank Ballou (Lori) of Gloversville; his grandchildren, Josh Ballou (Melissa Murry), Frankie Lee Ballou (John Damphier), Sean Rizzo (Kari), Rebecca Hart (Michael), Gary Lee Warner II (Nicole Laporta), Matthew Warner and Megumi Taylor; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Willow, Blake, Charlotte, Elaina and Deana; his cousins, Darla Ecker and Ruthie Spagnola (Angelo); and his close friend William Blodgett.
