He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hulbert and Violet Hulbert (Fischer); his wife Nancy L. Hulbert; and his brother Gary K. Hulbert. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Hulbert Jr. (Sarah), Daniel Hulbert Jace and Derek R. Hulbert (Alena); his grandchildren, Steven Hulbert, Dylan Hulbert, Zuadain Jace and Devalin Jace; and his siblings, Warren Hulbert, Leland Hulbert, Randy Hulbert and Donna Hayes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Douglas' memory may be made to the Sir William Johnstown Fire Department or the Ephratah Rod & Gun Club.
