It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Mackey of Johnstown, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reubin Mackey and Ann Mackey (Kiernan). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Catania of Gloversville and Michael Mackey of Gloversville; his grandchildren, Morgan Catania of San Francisco, CA, Adriana Plesniewicz Osborne (Zach) of Arvada, CO, Troy Mackey of Arvada, CO and Jantzen Mackey of Longmont, CO; his great grandchildren, Kenna Plesniewicz and Jayce Mackey; and his daughter Virginia Mackey Reppenhagen.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to St. John's Episcopal Church located at 1 N. Market St., Johnstown, NY for their community programs to help local residents in need.
