He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edie Bieg (Berney) and Joseph William Gilbert, Jr.; his wife Penny; his children, Tiffanie Gilbert and Tyler Gilbert; and his sisters, Kathleen Mease (Charles) and Patricia Gierka (Joseph).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Valley Falls VFW Post (242 Poplar Ave, Valley Falls, NY 12185).
