Michael E. Herrington Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, Michael E. Herrington of Johnsonville, New York, born in Troy, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Catherine D. Collett Herrington; his children, Angela Marie Herrington (Andrew) and Burton VanBuren (Alicia); his grandchildren, John Michael, Aubrey Noel, Nicholas, Aislyn and Emery; his siblings, Scott Herrington (Verlene), Wendy Calhoun (Dan), Pamela Doty (Theodore "Ted"), Melinda Turco (Paul), Cindy Lou Newman (Howard) and Holly Burke (Ronald "Ron"); and his nephew Emery. He is also survived by son and several nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Veteran's organization of their choice, in memory of Michael E. Herrington.
