He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ehret and Mary Ehret; his brother Harold; his sister-in-law Sally Ehret; his brother James Ehret; his brother-in-law Thomas Engle; his niece Colleen Lorelli; his father-in-law Robert Quigley, Sr.; and his sister-in-law Louise Quigley.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Michael Ehret (Beth), Brian Ehret (Karin Kroeger) and Kimberly Ehret (David Johnson); his sister Mary Catherine "Babe" Engle; his sister-in-law Maureen Ehret; his mother-in-law Bernadine Quigley; his aunt Betty Oldfield; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Quigley, Jr. (Susan), Mark Quigley and Michael Quigley (Wendy Parenti). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
